Homestead & Lookout Pest Control recently became one in a ‘seamless’ merger. If I could give a minus 10 review they absolutely deserve even less. I have had a termite contract with them for 4 years. They charged me $200 to get a termite letter as we are moving. The tech contacted me the day before the inspection was scheduled stating he was in the area & wanted to swing by to see what he was “up against”. He came, crawled under the house briefly then proceeded to tell me that my encapsulated crawl space was done incorrectly & we would have to tear it all out. I spoke with Dylan, his supervisor, who stated it wouldn’t be a problem to inspect. Mind you, the crawl space is exactly as it was when I purchased the $800 contract in 2022 & they have come yearly since then. NEVER any mention of the encapsulation being a problem. They were scheduled to come today between 8-12. No call, no show. When you call their office no one knows what’s going on. You may speak with someone in Huntsville, Ala…any # of places & be on hold with crummy music for 15 minutes at a time. I just want to forewarn anyone reading this that they do not value their customers or stand behind their services. Dylan offered to come out tomorrow, but quite frankly I do not trust their word. No explanation offered as to why no one showed or even called! They were adamant that I pay for the $200 inspection in advance. I requested a refund & will NEVER recommend or use this poor excuse of a service provider again!!!

Edit: 10/4/24 Chelsea (tech) went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied with our outside pest control, today. I found her knowledge and positive attitude to be very refreshing. Thank you! We hired them shortly after moving into our home. They do a great job keeping the bugs out of my house and are quite reasonable, too! Call them, I’m sure you’ll agree with me!

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They do a half a-s job. Don't show up on time. This place needs new people in it.

I was referred to this company and my interactions with them have been nothing but pleasant! I called them one morning with quite a request concerning a property I was selling and they assisted me in an extremely convenient & timely manner (I was having absolutely no luck finding a company licensed to provide a timbor? treatment that the home needed somewhere underneath)!! From day one, they—especially Carol who always assists me when I call—have been nothing but prompt, professional & proficient!
